Before
The bathroom shower renovation began with the demolition of the existing interior wall of the shower and the lower portion of the wall in front of the toilet. This gives way for easier durock installation in the shower, and drywall installation on the wall, as well as a better quality.

During
After the area is cleared, the old bathtub is removed and a new one is installed. The water valve and shower head are replaced with new ones, of customer's choice. Afterwards, the durock boards are put in place. The drywall on the wall is also added and finished.

Almost done...
After this task is complete, the durock goes through a waterproofing and sealing process using RedGard or another waterproofing membrane. The orange peel texture is then applied to the wall portion in front of the toilet.

Finished!
Finally, the thinset mortar (Versabond) is applied and the tiles are cut and set in place. The wall is then painted and small details are fixed. The area is then cleaned and complete.
